Marjorie and Annie

Created by Annie 3 years ago
I’ll always remember Marjorie as a most cheerful and human person.
She was so much concerned about every member of the family and friends and with what was going
on around her, so much involved, self-giving throughout her whole life.
I admire her indeed for everything she got involved in.

She must have been proud of her beautiful family !
She seemed to be a happy mother and grandmother.

She made me part of the family when I was coming over for some holidays from France.
As a teenager, she gave me a chance to learn English better, with a real good prononciation, as I was trying hard with Alison being deaf.

I have known the family since I was 14 (1970).
I have never stopped keeping in touch with all of them.
Bernard and Marjorie even met my fiancé before I introduced him to my parents, as I was living in London at the time (1979-1981).

Once married and living in France, we used to travel from time to time to England, never missing a visit to our best friends in Essex, sharing photos of the happy events in the family (weddings, births and more…).

It was so sad to see Marjorie on the last part of her life, lying in bed. She didn’t look like the same person I used to know before.

She was so expressive in her gesture and face, such a good actress. As far as I can remember she had a sense of humor.

I’ll try to remember the best moments of her, souvenirs of a very special friendship between 2 families, the Dunn’s and the Lambinet’s.

We will definitely miss her !

Warm thoughts to Marjorie’s family and friends.

With Love from the whole family in France,
Mum, my brothers, my daughters and us 2.

‘L’Union fait la Force !’, as we say in French : Unity is Strength!

Marjorie,
May You Rest In Peace !

Love from Annie
